Frequently Asked Questions for Online Courses
Q. Do I have to be online at a specific time?
A. None of our online courses require you to be online at a specific time.
Q. How long do I have to complete the course?
A. The length of time you have to complete your course varies. For our online courses with specific start dates, you generally have about two weeks after the final exam release date to complete all assignments, quizzes, and the final exam (for a total of 8 weeks).
Q. What if I don't finish in the time allowed?
A. Go to http://www.ed2go.com/hfcc which will put you on a page with the title Online Instruction Center. Click on the Help button ;located in the center of the grey bar at the top. Scroll about half way down the page to "How do I get an extension." Fill out the request form and click on the Request Extension button.
Q. How do I get my certificate?
A. Go to http://www.ed2go.com/hfcc which will put you on a page with the title Online Instruction Center. Click on the Help button ;located in the center of the grey bar at the top. Scroll down to Technical Issues and click. Scroll down to "I can't access my certificate of completion." and click.
Q. Are books included in the price of this course?
A. Books are included with some courses, but not all. Many courses do not require separate books. Please check the individual course description to find out if books are included for your course. If books are required, but not included in the price, the course description will mention the required books.
Q. How can I get the software I need for my online course?
A. You can purchase most software needed for an online course at academic prices through the HFCC College Store. To purchase software from the HFCC College Store, you must be a registered student at HFCC.
Q. What is your refund policy?
A. Our refund policy varies depending on the type of course in which you are enrolled. Please refer to our Refund Policy for online courses.
