SUPPLY LIST

(Sharing also a possibility on some items)

REQUIRED

Box of pastels (medium grade) We will not be using oil pastels in this class.
Charcoal/pastel paper (avoid acidic paper)
Kneaded eraser
Soft cloth preferably chamois
Fixative or hair spray
Viewfinder (to be made in class or homemade)
Color wheel (homemade preferred)
7 to 10 (to save) 3" x 3" cut color square from any solid paper for 5th session

OPTIONS/ADDITIONAL

Pastel pencil
Conté Crayons
Glassine
Drawing or homemade back up board

OIL PAINTERS

• Any paint set will do i.e.: Reeves, Windsor Newton, Grumbacher, Blick, or Utrecht. If buying individual tubes:
  • Titanium white (If you are buying small tubes of colors you will want a larger tube of white.)
  • Yellow Ochre
  • Cadmium yellow
  • Veridian green
  • Cadmium red
  • Alizarian crimson
